  1. Alain Grange

    Very impressed
Decided to give these a try in a short barrel Smith I have. Excellent accuracy with recoil comparable to my Glock 43. Glad I ordered several boxs. Will definitely order more as needed.

  2. Gregory

If you insist on 357 Magnum in a J frame then this is it.
I carry this in a S&W 66 3″ barrel and have excellent results. Beware though this is loaded down quite a bit, Speer’s website showed its closer to the Speer 125 grain GDHP 38+P than the 125 grain 357 Magnum. If you insist on 357 Magnum in a J frame then this is it.

  3. Thompson

    Best Defensive Ammo
Best defensive ammo with a proven track record. Will carry no other.

  4. Bosworth

    Perfect Snub Nose Load
I have noticed some reviewers complaining that this round is too weak, however that’s exactly what it was designed to be to reduce recoil in short barrel revolvers, aka lighter than average revolvers, why still providing excellent expansion with a faster burning powder to reduce muzzle flash. Too fast and the short barrel bullet would fragment. When I tested it I ran my standard test, to chronograph from 12 feet with a paper target behind the chronograph at 15 feet to test for velocity and accuracy at the same time, and then to test it’s ballistics by running through 4 layers of denim followed by 1.75″ of bologna followed by 1/4″ fiber board (to give similar resistance to a body) and into 6 gallon jugs to catch the projectile (between jug 3 and 4 is typical for rounds meeting the FBI standard). I ran this ammo test twice 4 months apart and temperature difference, one day was about 55 degrees and the other 80 degrees. What I got for average 5 shot velocity in the colder weather was 1,137 FPS/388 ft lbs, and in warmer weather it was 1,170 FPS/410 ft lbs. Both tests had devastating damage to the bologna with slightly more damage on the warm day test. Both tests yielded a bullet catch in jug 3 while impacting jug 4 a tad which is perfect penetration. The colder day bullet expansion was .585″ and the warmer day bullet expansion was .528″ and some fragmentation, so we can see where it’s ideal velocity is and that’s about 1,150 FPS, however both caused the same damage and stopped at the same penetration despite one being while and one fragmenting, so very very good performance and consistent all the way around!
