    Good stuff very accurate …
Good stuff very accurate from my Taurus 650. Just not sure if I will buy it again I can tell you for sure I wont use it as carry ammo. Where the printed muzzle velocity 990 fps which is only 15 fps over the Speer 38 special plus P loading. this is nothing more than a 38 special plus P in a 357 case…. I bought a 357 mag to carry a 357 mag. Even in a snubby a full power 357 mag will have upwards of 300 fps over a 38 special plus P in the same grain weight.

    I’m the dissenter here. I …
I’m the dissenter here. I have fired some boxes of this ammo from an early production batch, and I found that it produces a great deal of particle spray from the cylinder/barrel gap on two different revolvers, both of which are at the minimum gap recommended by S&W. I’m not sure if I’m being hit in the face by chunks of powder or the flash-suppressant, or what, but it’s a distraction. The loads are mild for a .357 and overall blast is low. But I didn’t like having my face and weak hand peppered. Again, this was an early batch and they may have resolved it, but I would not use this for defense unless I try some boxes that burn clean. Second, I wonder about the logic of using a “short barrel” .357 load. Ejecting spent .357 brass with the truncated ejectors on snubbies usually doesn’t work out too well. I carry .38 +P for that reason. They are more than adequate for self-defense. This could be a very reasonable self-defense load in a 4″ .357, but I’m dubious given the particle spray. I have found Remington Golden Sabre only a little hotter in terms of recoil, similarly flash suppressed, and clean burning.

Underpowered 357 – there are 38+P loads with more power
Fired some of this out of a Ruger SP101 and thought it was nice to shoot – like 38 special – because it is. it is a decent round out of the LCR as real 357 is just too much for the really light revolver. Overall decent ammo – just not 357 mag.
